The affected power converters, used in recreational vehicles to convert A/C power, have internal components that may short circuit.

The risk

An electrical short may lead to a vehicle fire.

The fix

Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will modify the affected power converters free of charge. The safety recall began on March 20, 2013. Owners may contact Jayco at 1-574-825-0608.
