The problem

Bugatti is recalling one 2018 Chiron vehicle. One of the screws that fastens the front frame support may be loose.

The risk

A loose frame support may reduce the vehicle's structural protection in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The fix

Bugatti recommends the car not be driven until the screws have been correctly tightened. A dealer will inspect the screws to the front frame support and tighten them as necessary, free of charge. The affected vehicle was repaired March 31, 2022. Owners may contact Bugatti customer service at 1-703-826-7545. Bugatti's number for this recall is BUGCR027.

Notes

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
