The problem
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023 Pause travel trailers. The brake wire was routed incorrectly through the suspension, which may result in a pinched wire.
The risk
A pinched brake wire may cause the brakes to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will inspect the wire, and rewire or reroute as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 3, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-327-2681. Forest River's number for this recall is 426-1615.
Notes
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
