The problem

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS vehicles. Insufficient crimping may allow the secondary fuel filter hoses to disconnect and leak.

The risk

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. Additionally, a lack of fuel can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the repair has been performed. Dealers will replace the secondary fuel filter hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 05, 2024. Owners may contact Nova customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova's number for this recall is CR5595.

Notes

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
