The problem

The risk
Failure to alert the driver with the intended hands-off the wheel warnings may increase the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will update the power steering control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 8. 2026. Owners may contact customer service at 1-866-436-7332.
