The problem
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2025 VT1300CX and 2024-2025 VT750 motorcycles. The fuel pump may malfunction due to a manufacturing defect.
The risk
Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters will be mailed beginning November 27, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KU9. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 8, 2026.
