I am reporting recurring water intrusion into my 2020 Acura RDX following significant rainfall. The first water intrusion resulted from heavy rainfall in April 2026. I did not discover the water inside the vehicle until May 1, 2026, when I found water accumulated on the driver-side floor. I filed an insurance claim after discovering the damage. Following the May 1 discovery, Gunn Acura, where I purchased the vehicle, inspected it. The dealership found the panoramic sunroof…

The most recent incident occurred on August 28, 2026, following heavy rainfall. Water entered the vehicle and accumulated on the driver-side floor, leaving the interior floor in a puddle. I documented the water intrusion with photographs and video and submitted that documentation to my automobile insurance…

This is the second time my rear windshield spontaneously blew out in cold weather after using the rear deicer. This is a known problem pursuant to Acura Service Bulletin 22-014. Instead of replacing the windshield with the. OEM, the component should be redesigned. and recalled.

The rear window shattered on its own!!!. I had it replaced but not all the glass debris could be removed and it is trapped inside the trunk door (lift gate), unreachable, because the way the door was manufactured. The body shop says the entire lift gate needs to be replaced. How is it possible that the customers have the pay for the repairs of this manufacturing defect! Every time I open the lift gate I can hear a lot of glass moving inside. I will never be able to resale…

My car was parked in a Garage untouched for hours I turned on remote start and came back to find my back window completely shattered. I looked inside the vehicle to see maybe if someone through a rock or anything but i found nothing and the way it cracked shows it came from the defroster.I have seen multiple complaints about Acura RDXs back window randomly shattering after using the rear defroster on the vehicle. I called an Acura service shop and they confirmed this is a re…

Our 2020 Acura RDX windshield spontaneously shattered. After reading a bulletin that this is a common issue we contacted our local dealer. We were told it was not a recall and was not covered. We contacted Acura to speak about the issue and were told we could take it to a dealer to determine if a small portion would be covered but even that was not a guarantee. This is an obvious issue with this vehicle.

Rear windshield shattered while parked and the car was not running. There was a bulletin only at the time. Called customer service. They advised to submit an insurance claim, which I didn’t do. The dealership disputed with them and ended up replacing it at their cost. Later several others in the area experienced the same thing. Acura acknowledged there was a problem with the rear windshield defroster. I still have pieces of glass within the hatch.

I was driving my car and had just entered the highway and my panoramic sunroof exploded. It sounded like a gun had went off in my car. I immediately drove to the dealership who informed me that it was not covered under warranty. I had it replaced as I was out of town 8 hours from home and the glass started falling onto the headliner which I kept closed for safety. I did catch the incident on my dashcam which recorded the audio and video through the windshield. There was no…
