On June 30, 2026 at approximately 1:13 PM EDT, my wife was maneuvering with the transmission in Drive to park our vehicle in the lot of our home. I was driving my 2022 Genesis GV80 on Sunday April 5th, 2026 when the vehicle started to overheat. This is the second incident that happened due to the vehicle overheating. The first time reported was in December 2025 at a cost of $3400 out of pocket. Now I see this recall for a potential fire that can be caused by the manufacturer defect. This is very concerning, since the vehicle has been serviced since I purchased the Genesis as a gift to myself in November 2021. This…

After a panic stop, back seat (opposite the driver seat) automatically collapsed. While I had it inspected at a Genesis dealership, hearing that Toyotas are experiencing a similar problem due to seat springs makes me wonder if that happened to my vehicle.
