    Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 G5 transit buses built on a GM chassis and equipped with a second air conditioning compressor kit. The drive belt pulley may contact and damage the the oil lines.

    Risk: A damaged oil like may leak, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

    Remedy: Dealers will secure the oil lines, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-121-OUC.

    Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2002-2015 MB II, 2008-2026 G5, and 2015-2026 T-Series transit buses. An installation error may prevent the wheelchair tie-downs from locking, leaving the wheelchair improperly secured.

    Risk: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit or a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    Risk: A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

    Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 G5 transit buses equipped with a power-assisted service door. The rod-eye rings attaching the front and rear door panels to the opening gear may delaminate, preventing the door from being controlled by the driver.

    Risk: The door panel may remain in the open position or open unexpectedly, increasing the risk of passenger being injured falling out of the bus.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect the service door mechanism for signs of rod-eye ring delamination and repair the mechanism as necessary, free of charge.     Risk: A loose drive belt can result in a loss of power steering, or a loss of alternator and water pump function, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, the engine may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
