The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that while driving 55 MPH, the transmission unexpectedly shifted into neutral(N). The check engine, seat belt, and several other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road, and the vehicle briefly experienced unintended acceleration without the accelerator pedal being depressed. The transmission failed to shift to drive(D) and remained stuck in neutral(N). The contact…

My vehicle has the idle stop feature. When at a red light, the vehicle shut off and went into idle mode. However, when the light turned green, and I removed my foot from the brake and pressed the gas, nothing happened. The vehicle had shut off entirely and when I turned it back on, it was in neutral. I had to put the vehicle in drive. I had 2 children in the car with me and it was very nerve racking to have a plethora of vehicles stuck behind me honking their horns because I…

My vehicle has had 3 fuel pump failures in under a year, requiring 3 separate fuel pump replacements by an authorized Nissan dealership. The fuel pump failure causes the vehicle without warning to stall in active traffic, loss of power and the drivers seat to move back away from the steering wheel. The infotainment center has also failed 2 times and had to be replaced 2 separate times by an authorized Nissan dealership. The infotainment center failures also cause the back up…

The vehicle shifted itself to neutral when stopping at a red light. I had to shift the car back to drive. When I tried to pull off from the red light, the car nearly shut off. Just researching other similar incidents, the problem is related to the start/stop function.

No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, no cause for the failure was found. Follow up to my prior complaint (NHTSA ID Number: 11568968). Sandy Sansing Nissan in Pensacola, Florida replaced the fuel pump and the front forward detection sensor. We also had to have the middle row, middle seatbelt replaced due the sensor not working. We have had the vehicle back for a week and the problems have continued, if not gotten worse. The vehicle has stalled out multiple times, 3 days in a row, nearly causing my wife and children to be rear-ended by a semi truck…

Issue is related to insufficient starting and propulsion of the vehicle after the idle stop feature has stopped the engine. After the idle stop feature turns off the engine [upon stopping of the vehicle], the engine does not start quickly and efficiently. You take your foot off the brake, the vehicle begins to start, then you push on the gas, the engine/vehicle then hesitates and stutters, and then the engine finally fully engages and moves the vehicle. Engine doesn't seem…

My car has been flipping into manual mode from a stopped position. It’s happened about a dozen times at this point. I’ve taken it to the dealership multiple times. The first time I took it in they said they did some software updates. A few weeks later it happened again. Took it back in… they said they couldn’t find anything wrong. They tried to tell me it was “user error”. Since then it’s happened multiple times. It’s always from a stopped or slowed position such as a red…

Stop & start fuel saving system, which automatically engages while waiting in the traffic, is malfunctioning. In the best case scenario car switches the gear to Neutral when releasing the break pedal to auto-start the engine. Another variation is shutting down the engine when attempting to drive off from the traffic lights or intersection after even a short stop. In a occurrence of this issue engine must be manually started like if it was parked. Last scenario, which happens…

Last July I felt jerking after accelerating on highway and decided to go in for service and found fuel injectors were the issues which these were replaced. Then again after 3 months now feeling jerking again and shaking after accelerating. There is no warning light appearing as I feel it. After reviewing with others 2023 pathfinders, afraid my vehicle may stall and not be repaired. I’m still on payment for this new vehicle.
