Toyota seems in no hurry to resolve the engine issue. Now they are not wanting to replace these engines as first promised.. What happens where there is a catastrophic failure later on. Dealerships are no help. When were they made aware of the engine issue and continue to sell these trucks. We as truck owners need someone to be our voice.

On August 21, 2026, I was driving South on US HWY 281 going approximately 70 miles per hour in the middle lane. Approximately near mile marker 540, the engine shut off and the truck rapidly decelerated. I luckily navigated the truck off the highway in heavy traffic. I attempted to restart the engine and it would not start. I had the truck towed to Shottenkirk Toyota and they diagnosed it as failed main crank bearings.

My 2023 Toyota Tundra iForceMAX truck has been out of commission for 56 days (Since June 29, 2026).
