    Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2022-2027 Ekko motorhomes. The touchscreen display may register unintended or phantom inputs and turn on the generator without the operator's knowledge.

    Risk: People in an enclosed space, such as a garage, with a running generator may be at an increased risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.

    Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside until the repair has been performed. Winnebago will release an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 11, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 205.

    Risk: A melted fuse increases the risk of a fire.

    Risk: Without a functioning blind spot monitoring system, the driver may be unaware of a vehicle in their blind spot, which can increase the risk of a crash.

    Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Travato, 2021-2023 Solis, and 2022-2023 Ekko motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i, and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the fuel filter and Injection Pump Module (IPM) may not be properly secured, which can cause a gas leak.

    Risk: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 2, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885.

The 12-Volt charging system may have improperly routed wires and loose electrical connections, which can overload the electrical circuits and cause damage to electrical components, including the auxiliary alternator.

    Risk: Overloaded electrical circuits that damage components increase the risk of a fire.

The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture and cause a gas leak.

    Risk: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

    Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Solis, Travato, and Ekko vehicles, equipped with GE-ES Double Flipseats. The seat belt retractors may lock up when the vehicle is on a slight incline. As such, these seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."

    Risk: If the seat belt retractor locks, a passenger may believe they are trapped in the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Winnebago will work with Freedman to notify owners, and dealers will inspect the seat and repair, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 23, 2021.     Following recall repairs for NHTSA ID Number: 24V541000, melting wires were noticed coming out of the roof solar port. These are approximately 6” of 10 gauge wires taking current from the solar roof port to the upgraded wiring from the previous recall. This section of 10 gauge wiring is undersized for the peak electrical load.

    The Balmar alternator installed on our RV, which provides electrical power to charge the coach battery started a noticeable whine at idle, it stopped providing a charge to the coach battery, and upon further inspection, after opening the hood, we noticed a faint burning electrical smell.     October 10, 2025. The vehicle is a 2022 Winnebago EKKO RV on a 2021 Ford Transit with 49,000 miles. The incident occurred after driving the vehicle for about 5 minutes with outside temperatures around 50 degrees Fahrenheit and noticed an unusual high pitch whine.     The front driver side tire (Hankook Dynapro HT 205/75R16) on our RV suddenly caused a wobbly ride while driving. Upon close inspection we noticed a bulge which had formed on the tread of the tire. We then noticed a large part of the side wall and tread to start separating on the inside of the tire. A technician at the tire store advised us to replace the tire immediately.

    This is to report a failure after NHTSA campaign number 23V234000 was addressed by Winnebago through their campaign number 174. I had the fix performed by Winnebago at their factory service center about 20k miles ago and the alternator failed again with the exact same symptoms. This is my 5th alternator failure in 60,000 miles and 3 years.
