Purchased 3 weeks ago. Third time filling up and first time in the garage. Noticed the fuel tank is leaking at the pump due to defective plastic. Car only has 55k miles, this should not be an issue. Is Chevy going to fix this or am I out the 2k repair bill?

The fuel tank is leaking at the pump due to defective plastic. There should be a lot of reports of this happening on this vehicle and it is more dangerous than any other defect I have ever heard of.

After filling up my gas tank in my 2010 Chevrolet Corvette I notice a strong gas smell that permeates through my entire garage and house. Upon investigation from an auto repair shop it has been determined I need to replace a faulty cracked fuel pump. Upon further investigation it seems there was a "Special Coverage Adjustment" from GM for this repair only for up to 120k miles. This should be a recall!!! as it is a very dangerous situation! So because I am over 120k , (just…

I noticed the heavy smell of gas fumes after putting gas in my vet. The smell is most prominent when the car is off and parked in the garage. I am sure that the smell is always present and that being parked in a parking lot or outside dissipates the smell. I have tried filling the tank half way to see if that would help but the smell of gas is still there. It is strongest in the rear hatch area on the drivers side. The smell in garage is so strong i have to leave the garage…
