    BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

    General Motors, LLC is recalling certain 2024-2025 Buick Envista, 2024-2026 Buick Encore GX, Chevrolet Trailblazer, and 2025 Chevrolet Trax vehicles. The rearview camera screen may display a distorted or blank image.

    Risk: A rearview image that does not display correctly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera, if necessary, free of charge. Letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed September 17, 2026. Another letter will be mailed once the parts are available. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300. GM's number for this recall is A262554900. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on August 20, 2026.

    I was traveling at high speeds on the freeway amid a strong head wind and noticed that the hood was fluttering and had to pull over concerned about the hood was going to detach and flip up into the windshield upon inspection and research I found that there are Hood bumper adjustments at the forward engine bay I adjusted the bumpers but I'm still concerned about the safety of the hood the vehicle is a rental i do not own it

    My vehicle antenna was broken off in an automatic carwash by the spinning wash system because of the length and design of the unit. This antenna becomes a projectile endangering the carwash employees as well as damaging my car or a following car.

    About a year ago I brought my car to the dealership because my computer blacked out which resulted in losing power steering and braking ability. I was told they hooked it up to the computer and found nothing and sent me on my way. Last week this same thing happened 5x in one day and I lost all computer function for 24 hours. The computer has since glitched and blacked out multiple times but have not lost steering or braking.

    Rear back up camera. One day it started to glitch when put in reverse. I placed the car in park, gave it a moment and put it in reverse again. This was repeated in the attempt to get the back up camera to work. Next- turned the vehicle off for a moment, restarted it, put in reverse and this did not help.     Rear camera stoped working. I read 2022 to 2024 had recalls on internet. Ours is 2025. Been to dealer they ordered new camera under warranty. But there on back order. They said they would call us when it came in. That’s the story.
