Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2012-2015 Dodge Journey vehicles manufactured April 21, 2012, to April 14, 2015. In the affected vehicles, water may enter the wiring harness for the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module and leak into the module, disabling the ABS and/or the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system.
Risk: If the ABS or ESC is disabled, a loss of vehicle stability could occur, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will seal the ABS wiring harness to prevent water from entering and will replace the ABS module and repair the headlamp and dash wiring harness, as necessary. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on December 21, 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is R61.

My car is junk. I have actually put tens of thousands of dollars into this car to keep it on the road. I would get rid of it but I owe more than it’s worth. This is insane. I cannot believe that none of the recalls come up on my vin because I’ve had to pay for so many repairs that are on recall lists for this car. Help me

My abs, traction control light, and brake light are on on the dash. When I tried to use cruise control the other day it wouldn't turn off. Now it's not working at all and the brakes locked up in the rain the other day and as soon as it dried up outside the issue went away. But now the brake module under the hood seems to be leaking and my oil cooler on top of the engine.

My ABS, traction control and Emergency brake dash lights are on. When I researched the problem it did show a recall on the ABS control module and wiring harness from certain 2015 Dodge Journeys. I did take my car to a dodge dealership and they did confirm the ABS module needs to be replaced but they told me my particular VIN wasn't included in the current recall. If my car model from the same year has an active recall for the part included in the recall and it is being…

My traction control light, ABS sensor light and brake indicator dash are on. My cruise control does not work. My mechanic says that it is the ABS Control Module. There is a recall for this part, but not for my vin number. The horn fuse had to be removed because the alarm would not stop going off, even when the alarm was not set. This is also associated with the ECM.

My traction control light, ABS sensor light and brake indicator dash are on. My cruise control does not work and sometimes the car will not start. I'm afraid to drive it. Thinking that it may turn off while driving it. My mechanic says that it is the ABS Control Module. There is a recall for this part, but not for my vin number. A number of Dodge owners I know are having this same issue.

My Vehicle stopped working all together. It only has 45 thousand miles on it. The dealer found that the ABS module shorted out and caused the whole car to loose communication. the dealer informed me that the replacement part was under review by Chrysler engineers and production has stopped so there is no replacement for this part and so i contacted Chrysler and was told that they don't have an estimated time for new part production. This issue is not only a financial concern…
