While driving, I experienced the brakes beginning to fail, followed shortly by a complete loss of engine power. My 2021 Ford Bronco is subject to recall 25S75 (NHTSA 25V455) for a low pressure fuel pump defect that can cause loss of fuel pressure or flow and engine stall. I was stranded on the side of the interstate in 100 degree heat with my newborn in the vehicle. This was a dangerous situation, not a minor inconvenience. I had the vehicle towed to an AAA Car Care Center…

Window actuator does not properly open or close passenger window to open door properly, which is a safety risks to a child. Window could shatter because window will not roll down the inch or so to pull the door open. In order to open the door, the window will shake vibrantly and risk of a child of a possible window shatter. Ford says this is a normal wear and tear and it’s at owners cost to replace. To me that’s unacceptable.

I am submitting a safety complaint regarding my Ford vehicle’s infotainment screen failure, which has been identified under a recall but currently has no available remedy or repair timeline. When the screen goes blank or becomes unresponsive, I lose access to critical safety features, including the rearview camera, which is federally required. This significantly increases the risk of accidents while reversing, especially in areas with pedestrians. The system also affects…

The digital gauge cluster where it shows sensitive information is a blacked out screen. I took it an automotive shop to investigate the issue. They ran a diagnositic and confirmed the screen is receiving power, fuses are good, but the screen is not powering up. I cannot view the digital speed, fuel gauge, mileage, access GOAT modes, view tire pressure, view oil life, and other critical data, etc. This first occured a few months ago and would randomly turn back on, but not…

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the parking assist fault warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a failed wiring harness. The contact was informed that a wire from the wiring harness was burned. In addition, the contact was informed that if the wire continued burning it might start a fire. The vehicle was repaired. The contact was informed that the repair…

I received an alert on the dash stating there was an issue with the blind spot monitoring/rear cross traffic system. It was erroring off and on for that entire drive. When I got home, I googled the issue and it appears it's a known issue with '21 and some early '22 broncos where they factory installed the blind spot module wiring harness too close to the rear bumper. Over time, the wires rub and eventually rub bare and corrode or short out. I went out to take a look and sure…

Bronco wire corrosion cross traffic refers to a known issue where wiring under the rear bumper, often for the blind spot/cross-traffic sensors, chafes, frays, and corrodes, causing system faults and failures, sometimes due to design flaws or environmental exposure to salt, requiring inspection and repair of the harness. This problem triggers error messages like "Cross Traffic System/Blind Spot System Fault" in the instrument cluster, impacting safety features, with potential…

Location of wiring from the factory for Blind Spot Warning and Cross Traffic Alert systems is not protected. The wiring has frayed and broken due to the wiring being unprotected, loose and rubbing on the rear bumper, causing the systems to not function. This is a blatant design defect from the factory, causing two safety systems to fail. Reporting now as, to the best of my knowledge, the manufacturer has not issued a TSB or recall and dealerships have acknowledged the issue.

I was driving on the highway at a speed of approximately 70 miles per hour when the Bronco driver screen gave multiple warning notices and at the same time, the accelerator would not react. Steering power was fine. I was in the second from far left lane on a six lane highway and losing speed quickly. I was able to move to the right and drift to the side of the road without incident. Once stopped, I turned the ignition off and waited a few seconds and then turned it back on…

I have been getting a message that my blind spot and cross traffic alert deactivated because trailer is attached. I have never had a trailer attached but do have a trailer hitch- the dealer said Ford refuses to pay to have it fixed because the bumper to bumper warranty is out. the car has been garaged and has only 9,000 miles on it. This is a safety issue that I think they should cover as I have no blind spot or cross traffic warnings.

Windows are constantly getting uninitialized so that they don't bump down on opened to allow them to close properly with the frameless doors. This leaves a gap when closed and additionally they will automatically go all the way back down any time they are rolled all the way up. This is very hazardous when driving and needing to close the windows as you're forced to look backwards to see when they get close to the stop and release the button before it hits the top. This was…

Cross traffic and blind spot monitoring/alert failed. Electrical wiring failed due to rubbing on the rear bumper causing failure of blind spot alert and cross traffic alert systems. Reliance on these systems is critical to safe operation of the vehicle.
