I am reporting a safety-related transmission problem I'm experiencing with my 2022 Ford F-150 equipped with the 10R80 automatic transmission. While driving normally, the transmission suddenly shakes violently downshifting from 6th to 5th gear and during upshifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. This occurs every single time while accelerating or braking, only in different gears , creating a potentially dangerous situation because the truck did not respond as expected when I needed…

Driving along I-15 in vegas. Ambient temp was 112 degrees F. Engine stopped, check engine light came on and a 'stop safely' indicator appeared. Had to have the truck towed from the interstate to a Ford dealership.

I am reporting a safety-related transmission problem I experienced with my 2022 Ford F-150 equipped with the 10R80 automatic transmission. While driving normally, the transmission FAILS TO ENGAGE AT SLOW SPEEDS, THROTTLE WILL NOT RESPOND FOR UP TO 8 SECONDS This creates a potentially dangerous situation because the truck did not respond as expected when I needed predictable acceleration or propulsion. I believe this incident may be related to the known 10R80 CDF…

Transmission shifts gears unresponsively when the clutch slips due to poor transmission design for the 10r80MHT which cause truck to either not accelerate at all, delayed acceleration, or a sudden lurching forward

Highway Incident: While traveling at highway speeds, a sudden evasive braking maneuver caused the truck to drop power. Upon attempting to re-accelerate, the throttle pedal went to the floor with zero response, and the vehicle continued to decelerate on an active highway. Multiple trailing vehicles had to make emergency maneuvers to swerve around the decelerating truck to avoid a high-speed, rear-end collision. Subsequent Incidents: The vehicle repeatedly forces an…

In the second year of ownership I noticed that occasionally I would get no throttle response from the gas pedal when trying to accelerate. After several occurrences I began to pay close attention as to when this was occurring. I found that this occurs mostly, not exclusively, when I am slowing the vehicle to a near stop, not a full stop and then accelerating to continue, like slowing to round a corner on a green light and getting into traffic. For example, I was exiting a…

I just started the truck, put it in gear, and began driving slowly through the parking lot. The gas pedal was unresponsive—even when pressed all the way to the floor, the truck would not accelerate or move. This has happened multiple times, both while rolling slowly and sometimes from a complete stop. It occurs intermittently.

I was driving down the road and heard a loud clunking noise. Then I had lost power and the rear wheels were spinning out of control. There was a grinding/spinning/whirring noise coming from beneath the vehicle, sounded like from behind. I was fortunately able to regain control of the vehicle by shifting it into 4WD and avoided an accident. I brought the Vehicle to Gaudin Ford for repair and was informed it was a recalled part failure recall number 23S65. I had previously…
