My 2022 hybrid Maverick suddenly lost power as I was driving at 45 MPH. There was no warning lights; the entire dashboard went black. I lost all power including lights, speedometer, and power steering. Additionally, and more concerning, I lost all brake functionality so I could not stop the vehicle, even pressing the brake very hard. The parking brake switch also did not work due to the power loss. The brake pedal would not budge until suddenly after the vehicle completely…

Brakes grab hard at 4 MPH. I've had to software updates from a Ford dealer. It helps for about 100 miles then comes back. Initially, the software was put in because the brakes were grabbing dangerously at a fast speed and I would often hear a loud bang. But the software got rid of that issue and now left me with the current brake issue at 4 MPH. It sometimes causes a "hard stop". I have recently brought it into two different Ford dealerships to be checked out. One said,…

After performing a panic stop where the Pre-Collision activation message and chime activated, nothing happened until a few miles down the road. At that time, The "Service AdvanceTrac," "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available" and "Hill Start Assist" warning messages scrolled on the cluster with a chime to go with them. Additionally, the amber tell tale warning lights for the ABS system, electric park brake system, stability control system and pre-collision assist were…

I had just filled up my truck with gas and started driving to work today and the truck went into limp mode. It flashed a low gear warning, then started to slowly stop, all of the system alarms went off, including the check engine light. There were so many pop-up's I can't recall them all. I was able to pull over and start slowing down before it engaged the emergency brake and I experienced a hard stop. I turned the truck off and back on with no help. I turned the truck off…

The brakes are grabby during low speed driving (5mph). It occurs during slow turns, pulling into parking spaces, going through a restaurant drive-thru, etc. In this situation, you typically keep your foot on the brake pedal and slowly let off to move forward and then equally apply the brakes to stop. When this problem occurs, when you are trying to apply the brakes the normal amount of pressure isn't enough, so you press harder and harder until the vehicle stops in a lurch,…

My 2022 Ford Hybrid Maverick Truck has been experiencing what is referred to as Grabby Brakes by the Maverick Truck Club (MTC) Maverick owners. At low speeds, 2-5 MPH, the brakes suddenly activate and slams the truck to a stop and passengers are thrown forward. There was and article from [XXX] that reported that there is a Technical Service Bulletin [XXXX] from Ford Motor Company that addresses the issue. I cannot validate this information.
