I have experienced phantom braking multiple times but it happened at the worst time yesterday & because of that my shoulder is hurting alot. I was driving on the road when suddenly car hit the brake without any warnings. This has caused whiplash and headache as well because of it. This phantom braking incident has happened many times just this time it was recorded on my dash cam.

I own a 2023 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid. At approximately 42,000 miles, all of the warning lights illuminated while driving. The warnings included Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Parking Collision Warning, and multiple other system alerts. At the same time, I experienced a loss of electric power steering assist, increased steering resistance, and clicking/popping noises coming from the steering rack. The Honda…

The car has continually asked to to be updated through the driver control center screen. IT states that this is a dealer update and must be brought in to have this done. Until this update is completed the above systems will not work. I have brought the car in for the lat 25k miles 4 oil changes and have been told each time that it has been fixed. It still has not been fixed, and the dealer is telling me there is nothing they can do. This is definitely a safety issue as these…

My automatic braking system randomly halted me to a stop in the middle of a clear road and almost caused the person behind me to crash into me even though they were back away from me a safe distance. This has happened several times now and it scares me a lot every time it happens. Makes me want to sell the car. I looked it up and saw that many other people online have had an issue with this feature. I also learned there’s no way for me to fully disable the feature which is…

On December 9, 2023, while driving my brand new 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring HPD package on the highway during snowy conditions at less than 50 mph less than 8000 miles on the odometer after my first oil change the automatic emergency braking (AEB) system suddenly and unexpectedly engaged with no obstacle, vehicle, or pedestrian ahead, causing the vehicle to skid uncontrollably and slam into a concrete highway barrier. The car was towed from the scene, and I was…

I was driving on the Freeway doing about 65 to 70 MPH and all of a sudden on the Dashboard a large orange brake light came on and the vehicle hit the brakes automatically almost causing an accident. I took it to the dealership and all they did was reset some computer board but said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. If they couldn’t find anything wrong with the vehicle then why reset the computer board.

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this complaint to report a serious vehicle safety issue involving a Honda vehicle that was under a lease agreement. From the start of the lease, the vehicle suffered from repeated malfunctions of its safety and proximity sensors. These issues were reported, and the vehicle was taken multiple times to an authorized Honda dealership. Despite these efforts, the problem was never resolved. I later discovered that the vehicle had an active…

The vehicle's suspension is excessively stiff and harsh since new, transmitting all road imperfections, bumps, and irregularities directly to the driver and passengers, causing discomfort and fatigue. Additionally, there is abnormal noise (clunking/rattling/creaking/popping) from the steering rack area, especially when turning the steering wheel at low speeds, over bumps, or when stationary. The suspension components and steering rack assembly are available for inspection…

Summary of Incident: For approximately two years, my vehicle has experienced random electrical issues. All dashboard warning lights will flash at random times. When I take the vehicle to the dealership (Bell Honda), the problem disappears before it can be diagnosed. On September 27, 2025, and again on September 28, 2025, the vehicle completely stopped and shut off while I was driving. It would not restart. The hazard lights were stuck on and could not be turned off. This…
