The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (Steering), and the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the recall repair was completed; however, the failure occurred while driving. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and turning, the steering wheel made abnormal sounds, was sticking, and failed to return to center. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the contact was informed that a…

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Wiper system malfunctions by allowing driver side wiper to intermittently reach varied end positions, sometimes striking the A-pillar. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request (has been inspected by dealer already). How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? While driving in heavy rain, wiper erratically slamming into A-pillar is distracting and has caused…

The windshield wipers and system of water delivery from the blades onto the windshield is a total disaster. You can easily have an accident due to extremely poor visibility after using the windshield wipers to clean the windshield with water, especially if the sun glares on your windshield which is now smeared not clean and reflects and refracts all the smear. You can't see and aggravates the driver. I almost did have an accident. Very scarry to have such poor visibility…

Windshield wiper washer does not properly clean the windshield. Holding the wiper stalk in the spray position , the spray only squirts for a sec or so as the wiper blade is vertical . Not enough cleaning solution is deposited in the correct location to clean the windshield. All other vehicles I have owned spray solution the entire duration of the wiper stalk being in the spray position. This is the best way to insure that the windshield is properly cleaned for safe viewing.

Hello, My name is [XXX], and I am writing to bring an urgent matter to your attention. Recently, I had a concerning incident with my vehicle. After parking the car to drop my son off at his lessons, I stepped out of the vehicle and removed him from the back seat. Within about 40 seconds, the rear window of the car suddenly exploded without any apparent cause. There was no prior damage to the window, and nothing struck it or was forced against it. The glass simply shattered…

The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving 65-70 MPH, there was an abnormal thump coming from the vehicle and a windy sound. The driver became aware that the sunroof had shattered. The sunroof shade was closed at the time of the failure. The Police informed the contact that there was no object to impact the sunroof to cause the failure. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where pictures were taken and sent to a Honda representative and…

The driver‑side mirror on my 2024 Honda CR‑V Hybrid Sport has a persistent vibration issue that affects visibility and safety. At speeds above approximately 65–70 mph, the mirror shakes noticeably, making it difficult to clearly see vehicles in adjacent lanes. This creates a significant safety concern when changing lanes, merging, or monitoring traffic. The mirror assembly was already replaced once by my Honda dealer, but the vibration has returned and is now worse than…

    • The wipers do not distribute washer fluid at all to the passenger side of the windshield. The design of washer fluid distribution is terrible and this is obviously quite dangerous. • All vehicle occupants, and others outside the vehicle are at risk due to poor visibility that can occur when dirt/salt accumulate on the windshield and can't be wiped away properly and the driver cannot see clearly on 1/2 the windshield. • Yes. This is a known issue and just "By Design" • Many…

I am reporting a significant safety concern regarding the windshield of my 2024 Honda CR-V. Under [Insert Typical Conditions, e.g., cold mornings / high humidity], a persistent, splotchy haze or "frosting" effect develops on the interior/exterior of the glass. The standard defrosting system and windshield wipers are unable to clear this obstruction effectively. This creates a dangerous loss of visibility, especially at highway speeds or in low-light conditions, forcing me…

Windshield wipers don’t have the same amount of travel each stroke. Sometimes the driver wiper will contact the A pillar and sometimes it will be several inches shy of the pillar. It seems it depends on how wet the windshield is. On several occasions, independent of wiper issue, the vehicle has significantly decreased speed or come to a complete stop for no apparent reason.

The back up camera becomes blurred or unusable in rain and is worse after drying. This is not momentary water droplets. I spoke with NTSA and their reply was based solely on the owner’s manual, despite ongoing loss of rear visibility in wet conditions. I am requesting escalation and review for camera replacement or an updated part, not cleaning. Please don’t refuse to address a backup camera visibility failure, citing the owner’s manual. I need a formal case opened for a…
