Smoke came from the engine compartment, and I had to pull over immediately with my family to avoid a serious accident. Before the recall, the vehicle had no issues and ran perfectly for three months after purchase. The problem occurred only a few days after the recall service, which included work on the ABS module. The brakes drag on the primarily on front passenger side and sounds like its cutting into the rotor. They've been replaced several times and after a few months the issue reappears. The issue can affect any of the of the four wheels. It's much worse during frequent braking, or 'stop and go traffic', and when it's warmer outside.
