   Car has been shaking & rattling when hitting a pothole and not allowing my car to stop the brakes become very hard to press down on causing my car to move more into the street. I have small children and it is a big safety issues.

   When stopping on uneven ground ,or steeper down hill the breaks fail to stop. They don’t “catch “ to stop. In separate issue is the “emergency steering” alert flashes on dash randomly and takes over when there is no need to anything out of the normal happening, only happen in very short time maybe under a minute but it shouldn’t come on at all when it does happen

   The vehicle brakes malfunctioned while driving over bumpy pavement in a parking lot. There was a loss of ability to stop the vehicle, the breaks seemed locked or ineffective. This cause me to come close to rear ending the vehicle in front of me. My foot was pushed FIRMLY on the break and the vehicle seemed to continue to lurch forward. The collision warning alarm was sounding and the brake pedal was vibrating.

   While crossing a railroad track, the vehicle in front of me slowed down. I applied the brakes but there was no response. I pushed even harder with excessive force and the brakes did not respond at all. I though for sure I was going to hit the vehicle in front of me when the brakes finally responded.    On 2 separate occasions, under similar circumstances, the collision warning systems, both front and rear, applied the brakes for no reason.     2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. Single loud popping noise from right rear area occurring approximately 10–20 seconds after coming to a complete stop. Noise is consistent and repeatable during normal everyday driving. Suspected cause is brake caliper, rotor thermal expansion, sway bar end link, or rear suspension bushing releasing load after vehicle settles. Dealer appointment scheduled for May 4, 2025.     When going over bumps while lightly pressing the brake (not hard) the anti lock brakes will kick on preventing you from stopping. Example, I was leaving the grocery store slowed down because the light was turning red, hit a minor bump and my brakes locked up and almost rear ended someone because my car would not stop.
