- ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger electric vehicles. A software error may cause the instrument panel display to fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment," 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems for Light Vehicles," 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems," 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring System," and/or 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Risk: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as gear selection and warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.

The vehicle is unsafe; it freezes while driving leaving one unable to navigate in any way. Everything ceases at once - nothing works, you can't put it into P/D/R/N, it won't accellerate or turn off. It just freezes, won't drive, won't turn off, completely locks up either while parked (the safer version) or while driving (completely unsafe, imagine being in a moving vehicle with no control at all?). Please don't ignore this - look at social media where hundreds, if not…

The first time this happened I was pulling into a parking lot and all service lights started flickering and it said to turn turn off car immediately as I was driving, I pulled into the nearest parking lot and it just stopped driving. The second time, which was Friday, April 17, 2026 I was driving down a busy road and all lights started flashing, the big NO ASB brakes flashing and I had no brakes. It was terrifying. 1) Keyless entry/auto lock/unlock has been an issue since we leased the car, and it remains. CarPlay maps on the dashboard are not in sync with reality (even on the short ride home) often displaying the steering wheel icon and/or “0 m” directions that make no sense with the reality of where I was driving. After a brief stop on the way home, I turned the car on and the emergency brake initiated itself, as it so often has since we leased the car. This is made even worse by the…
