My 2021 Nissan Titan has rolled away on several occasions, when the shift lever is in the parked position. I needed to use the foot parking brake and wheel chucks to stop and secure the vehicle.

Dealership signed off on NHTSA Recall 22V671 / Nissan Bulletin NTB22-085 in 2023 as 'reprogramming not needed.' The vehicle's transmission software is currently mismatched/corrupted, causing transmission fault codes. The manufacturer (Nissan Consumer Affairs) and the local dealer are refusing to honor the safety remedy and are attempting to charge a $240 diagnostic fee to investigate a failed recall campaign.

Two different incidents involving the transmission. The first was going at a moderate speed, it’s a nine speed transmission. It shifted down into second gear, revving the engine horribly and throwing me forward somewhat. If this had happened at highway speeds it could have locked up the back wheels causing me to loose control of the vehicle. I have picture of the dash panel showing it shifted down to second gear. I’m not sure how to attach it here. I pulled over and put it…

2021 nissan titans were equipped with nissan's new 9 speed transmission. People are having major issues with this new transmission including me. I bought my brand new 2021 nissan titan in January of 2022. I have had issues with the transmission since day 1. Hard shifts from 1 to 4th gear. Always searching for gears. The safety issue is when you come to a stop the truck lurches forward on the last downshift causing the driver to almost hit the car in front of them. Also, when…

My vehicle when slowing to a stop down shifts a bit harshly then upshifts suddenly making a loud click and lurches forward abruptly. This has gotten worse with time. I have 8,156 miles as I write this. The 2 recalls were complied with Friday 12/02/2022 at Orr Nissan Bossier City, La. I initially called and took it in for the problem described and even though the technician said the problem no longer exits, it does. I called them back after I left but they were closing up…

Transmission issue. The transmission is sluggish when trying to accelerate when at a complete stop. It's almost like it doesn't downshift properly after coming to a complete stop. I have had several instances when I am trying to clear an intersection and have to apply more acceleration than normal to prevent getting hit from oncoming traffic. The transmission also kicks when coming to a complete stop. It almost seems like it has a hard time downshifting to first gear. I have…

I have been dealing with a transmission issue with a 2021 New Nissan Titan since Jul 26 with no resolution. I brought my Nissan Titan HD in for service at Bayou Nissan on July 26 for a Transmission Issue. The truck jerks when downshifting, the jerk can throw you forward with a hard downshift when coming to a stop. This has at times locked my seatbelt and thrown passengers forward. This is clearly and regularly documented online, the links provided are the exact description…

The vehicle will not move between lower level gears and will not accelerate when it is stuck. The vehicle will rev up very high but not switch gears even if you dig all the way in on the gas pedal. In fact, if you do that the engine makes a chirping noise. This defect prevented me from accelerating through an intersection and I nearly got hit by oncoming traffic. We have taken it to the Nissan dealership 3 times and they have said this is normal for this type of truck. We…
