On May 20, 2026, at approximately 14,600 miles, I discovered a stress fracture in the windshield of my 2025 Toyota Camry XSE immediately after going through an automated car wash. There were no prior warning signs, unusual sounds, or visible stress marks before the crack appeared. While pulling out of my driveway, I heard a loud popping sound. Immediately afterward, there was a burning plastic-type odor. At that time, there were no visible signs of damage, no warning lights on the dashboard, and the vehicle appeared to be operating normally. Later that day, while driving, I noticed a shimmering effect in the bottom right corner of the windshield that caught my attention. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the windshield had cracked. It appeared…

The noise is annoying when driving and I am concern that the door will open. This does not make me feel safe. 2. Windshield is fragile. Within a month of purchasing my Camry, my windshield cracked (passenger side). A couple months later I see another crack on the drivers side. I am afraid that it will shatter soon enough and cause me not to…
