This problem isn’t just the 6.2L engine. My 22 Suburban has the 5.3L and had engine failure on the freeway going 70 mph in April 2026. Loud noises and loss of power. Towed to dealership and was confirmed that it was the same issues as the 6.2L. The dealership only replaced certain components (gears, rods, camshaft etc.) Parts replaced and vehicle returned a month later but still loss of power and bad idle. New dealership in May 2026, replaced same parts, said faulty parts…

Operating vehicle normally until one day I heard a rattling noise from the engine compartment. Car had limited speed and i had to pull over to check what the issue was and the car wont start. No check engine lights, no warning. Tried turning car on but only the car starter keeps rolling. Tried jumping and it doesnt start and had to have it towed to the dealership. Car is under 55,000miles and dealer diagnosis indicates there are metal particles in the new oil after replacing…

The telecommunications module for vehicle GPS and OnStar emergency services failed after a factory software update. Now the vehicle has no GPS location, information emergency OnStar services or the ability to access vehicle Telematic via cell signal or an app. Dealer refused to cover the item under the 36 month bumper-to-bumper warranty leaving the consumer stuck with a $2000 cost just to have GPS in the vehicle and maintain contact with emergency services through OnStar.

In several separate unreplicable instances, the vehicle has turned off while driving, once on the highway, once on my street, once turning across heavy traffic, and others. I've almost died a couple times and I've taken it to the dealership several times, they have Not been able to find anything wrong with it and have been unable to replicate the issue. The engine has been replaced, and it was happening before and since. My 2023 is also doing the same thing.

Vehicle accelerated while driving. The RPMs gage turned red; however, the vehicle stopped in the middle of the road with other cars coming. After the vehicle came to a full stop it would not move. Finally it started moving slowly and I was able to get off the road. When the tow truck arrived the vehicle would only go forward. No reverse. Onstar, my vehicle's core safety communication system, stopped working without notice, without an alert on the dash. Nothing. I press the onstar button and nothing happens. What if I was in trouble? Didn't have my phone? The issue was not communicated to me through the infotainment system. This seems like a serious issue.

I own a 2022 Chevrolet suburban and bought the 72k mile extended warranty. Recently my telematics module went bad which is covered by the GMPP. I lost wifi, my clock is wrong everytime etc. However General Motors no longer makes this part anymore. Parts department utilizes a third party company called specmo for a refurbished authorized unit. However, GMPP will only cover the original msrp not the inflated price from the company specmo that GM uses for these parts. This part…
