    Was just informed my transmission pump needs to be replaced after hearing an odd humming noise when acceleration occurred. I looked online and saw this was a recall for similar vehicles. Mine did not come up, but it mirrors the same issues that were part of the recall.

    Purchased vehicle in March 2024 then in late august 2024 the engine light came on. On October 3rd i took the vehicle to a Chrylser dealer near me and they diagnosed it as needing a TRANSMISSION & OIL COOLER REPLACEMENT, #5 FUEL INJECTOR, and VACUUM HARNESS among other things.

    Oil filter housing leaks is made out of cheap plastic and failed. Leaking oil can make roads slick and cause accidents and is a fire hazard to vehicle.

The contact stated while the vehicle was at the independent mechanic for transmission replacement, the contact was informed that the plastic oil filter housing had melted. The contact was informed that the oil filter housing needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

    Spark plugs and motor/transmission mount fixed but car started shutting off when I would come to a stop. Took it back to dealership and they stated the TCC failed and was replaced, started messing up again a week later. Wouldn’t start , I had the battery and alternator checked and both are good. It is currently back in the shop.

    Chrysler is aware that they have a faulty engine oil filter adapter in many of their automobiles but are refusing to do a recall to address the issue. Mine finally began leaking just a couple drops on the cement no warning light. Brought it into the shop and was confirmed that the adapter was leaking ALOT whole engine was covered. This could have led to my car seizing up on the highway without a warning light at all!

    ticking started in the engine, idle is rough most times, #2 cylinder misfire and does not accelerate when gas pedal is pressed. occasional cut off while driving or stopping at a light. mechanic checked codes to verify. In september of 2023 transmission was replaced by a certified shop after the same similar issues. keep dumping money into a car that i am still paying on and maintain according to the maintenance schedule.

    Oil leakage. I’ve read numerous reports online with the same year make and model about oil leakage we bought this car used without doing and research first just because we needed a car. And when I notice the oil leak I’ve been doing research and a lot of people have had the same problem causing people to spend ALOT of money to fix it which could have been prevented.
