The coolant is getting consumed by the engine. I need to add coolant every so often and there is no visible leaks in the hoses. It cause the check engine light to come on, a rough idle at start, and a cylinder to misfire.

Recently I have noticed, in my 2017 Ford Edge SEL, that my coolant level in reservoir has been low a few times with no puddling anywhere under car. I have read that this is a known issue with this vehicle that has the 2.0L ECOBOOST engine. What can be done about this? From what I have been reading, this a design issue that Ford knows about but has not offered a fix. The cost to replace the engine is more than vehicle is worth. Is there some financial assistance or full…

The check engine light is on and upon diagnostics it shows there is an issue with the EVAP purge valve. This cause the vehicle to have problems starting when refueled. Cost of the repair is around $1000 due to where the valve is.

The 2.0 ecoboost engine 2017 Ford Edge Titanium coolant leaking into many places. White smoke coming from exhaust flooding into the streets I have been told the Long block issue as well. The vehicle was at an independent service center where it sat for over three weeks while they worked hard trying to find the issues. Took my car to my mechanic said that coolant was draining into my 2.0 ecoboost engine in cylinder 4 causing misfire, white smoke to come out of my pipes, sweet antifreeze smell in the cabin. Have to constantly dump coolant into the car so that it doesn't over heat.when i start the car in the morning it acts as if the car is going to die if I don't hit the gas. Contacted ford, they said it was my problem. I bought the car a year ago. It started at about 72000 miles.

The check engine light would intermittently light up and then go out for a few months prior to system failure. In the week prior to failure, we took the vehicle to AutoZone and used their engine code scanner to try to diagnose the problem. Based on the result of that, we first changed the spark plugs, which initially made the check engine light turn off for about a week, then it came back on. We then replaced the ignition coils, the check engine light never went out. A…
