Was driving down the road when a series of alerts started popping up on my instrument panel and lost braking ability. The following alerts occurred in the specific order. Parking brake service limited, Brake system failure alert, service advancedtrac. Braking Pedal went to the floor, I continued to stomp on the brake pedal and pump, trying to get a response. The braking system never responded and I eventually came to a rest. My safety as well as any drivers around me was put…

I believe whats happening is - The transmission is downshifting too early, and applying a significant and random amount of braking resistance. This braking goes off and on at random. It prevents the driver from braking in a controlled manner, as this random and unpredictable additional braking caused by - i think - the transmission is constantly changing. Therefore sometime my truck will randomly and suddenly slow down, then accelerate. As a driver, I am always trying to…

issues with my 2025 f150 tremor when I applied my brakes firmly, really not that hard ( not hard enough to skid) my truck locked into park and I wasn’t even able to put it back into a gear with a flashing message! Couldn’t get it back into gear for about 30 sec to 60 sec until a message stopped flashing. Had this happened in traffic or on a freeway this could have been really bad especially in traffic. Very dangerous!

I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a safety-related issue with my 2025 Ford F-150, 5.0, that began immediately following recent recall service on the brake booster system. Since the recall work was completed, the ABS system has been producing a loud electrical rattling or grinding noise during vehicle takeoff. This noise is consistent and occurs at low speeds when accelerating from a stop. Prior to the recall service, this issue was not present. Given that this…

While driving slowly in a traffic queue, the driver applied the brakes to stop behind the vehicle ahead. The ABS activated unexpectedly, causing the truck to lurch/jump forward instead of stopping smoothly. The driver was forced to steer left to avoid a collision, but the vehicle ultimately struck the car in front, damaging the left front of the truck. No injuries occurred. This is not the first time this behavior has been observed in this vehicle, and the vehicle had…

I have repeatedly received an error on my vehicle dashboard stating " 1 pedal drive fault: Press break pedal to reduce speed". I have taken my vehicle to the dealer twice for this and was told both times that it was not reproducible and therefore nothing that could be fixed. I was told there was an active recall and that it has been repaired. Today after coming to a complete stop I let go of the break and the vehicle suddenly forcefully lurched forward without me stepping on…

When you’re stopped and have the Auto Hold feature on, and open your door, the gear selector will automatically shift to park and engage the e-brake. Off and on, this will cause the brake system to fault and will tell you to service immediately. A couple other times it triggered randomly with just having the Auto Hold feature activated. it’s happened on and off since i got the truck new. i have a video of me trying to engage and disengage the parking brake and nothing…
