My 2017 Genesis G80 3.8L, VIN [XXX], has approximately 43,840 miles and intermittently slips or shifts improperly between approximately third and fifth gears while driving and causes harsh jolts forward. Jenkins Genesis confirmed the condition, stated that the transmission was slipping from the 3–5 clutch area, and recommended complete transmission replacement. The malfunction is unpredictable and creates a risk of sudden loss or interruption of propulsion while merging,…

When you press on the gas accelerator- the car only moves at a few miles per hour. This is intermittent but makes the car undriveable and very dangerous to drive in traffic. The throttle body was replaced but now geneis says it is another electrical issue and the car needs a new harness- but gensis no longer makes this part (the harness) so genesis even under my warranty cannot fix the car genesis says it is a harness issue and they don't have and cannot get the part- hence…

I want to file a complaint regarding the recall issued for my car. I am concerned that Genesis has not issued a resolution at all and suggests parking the car. If it's unsafe and could ignite itself on fire, a remedy should be issued immediately. Offer us a different model and year or fix the issue. This is people's lives at stake.

Recall 24V107000 issued 2-13-2024 for compartment fire while parked or driving. I received such recall from Genesis within the past two weeks, now 5-13-2024, not promptly as it should have been since it is a high rise of danger to users and passengers. Today I called the Genesis Customer care, there remains no remedy, and the agent could not authorize a rental car. I could rent a car at my expense and submit a claim once the remedy is installed and I may be refunded that…
