UNEXPECTED SUDDEN ACCELERATION. 2017 Honda CR-V. Twice while highway driving with autopilot on, system failed to slow it when approaching other vehicles and it sped up instead. When I pumped the brakes, it went away. I TOOK IT OFF AUTOPILOT HENCEFORTH. Several days later, coming out of a market parking lot and approaching a stop sign, the accelerator went down and sped me forward with brakes doing barely anything. I shot into a CVS parking lot, managed to stop it and turn…

The dash warning lights all come on when the vehicle is started. Numerous Warning messages scroll across the dash indicating just about every system on the vehicle is malfunctioning. The collision warning system stops working, the lane change warning stops working, cruise control stops working. I have no idea what else could have stopped working that could mean the difference between life and death. My vehicle has had this problem for almost two years now. This problem stops…

The vehicle has a consistent problem where all dashboard warning lights come on at the same time, sometimes when this happens the vehicle enters what they call limp mode and won't go above 10-20 mph. This occurred multiple times to me and recently on the highway where a tractor trailer almost hit my vehicle because of the loss of speed with no brake lights. It has been to multiple honda dealerships where most recently I was told it was fuel injectors. I replaced the fuel…

I have repeatedly had to bring my car into the shop (6 times now, only owned it for 5 months) to have the spark plugs and/or fuel injectors replaced multiple times. The car will suddenly start shuddering when trying to accelerate over 2 RPM. It has also stalled twice (while accelerating it slowed down to a stop in the middle of the road) and the engine light will flash. Mechanics have noted misfires in the engine and that the plugs/injector are getting clogged and dirty very…

My car went into the limp mode when I was driving and would only go 7 to 8 miles per hour. This is a big safety hazard. Had I been on the freeway and not near my home, it could have easily caused an accident.I had it towed to the dealer and they could not find anything wrong and said it was probably Bad gas. Prior to this, several lights had come on the dash stating that all of the systems in the car were not working. They also could not tell me why that was happening. It…

Multiple times my vehicle has flashed "BRAKE" when there was no object in front of me. At times there were shadows from trees that I thought may have prompted the warning. But in the past 6 weeks during interstate driving and adaptive cruise control engaged, the vehicle brakes for no reason. This can happen several times in just a short distance, or sometimes I can drive 25 miles and it doesn't happen at all. There is no rhyme or reason to the frequency. Most of the time it…

I own a 2017 Honda CRV EX AWD. While driving downhill on a mountain road on Dec. 9, 2023, all of my dashboard warning lights and alarms began flashing and sounding off. Some of the warnings cycled through one after another while others were simultaneous. I continued to drive looking for a safe place to pull over. Going downhill I was able to maintain some speed, but when the road leveled off I found I was unable to accelerate to more than 5-10 miles per hour despite the…

The incident happened on 11/2/2023 at 8:40 AM ET. I was at the speed of about 25-30 miles/hour to drop my daughter at preschool. Suddenly, I received an alert on my dashboard saying "Brake System Problem". When I applied brakes, the vehicle wouldn't stop. I pressed brake pedal very hard and kept it that way for a while. The vehicle gradually came to a stop but it took long for a vehicle to come to a stop. It was a 'brake failure experience'. If there was a downward slope…

Major driveability/safety issue. The vehicle started skipping and jerking on highway I-93 on the New Hampshire/ Massachusetts line. I was accelerating to 65 mph and merged with traffic, when the car engine began stalling intermittently. The check engine and maintenance indicator lights turned on. As I coasted to the side of the road, the vehicle continued to jerk and slow/speed up.

I was going ~60-65MPH on the Ronald Reagan freeway east bound on a rainy day at ~ 3:40pm on 27th December 2022. I was going on the second from left lane between the Rinaldi and Porter Ranch exits. Unbeknownst to me this part of the freeway is notorious for flooding in the left lanes. I applied the brakes gently to slow down my car. Suddenly, I felt I lost steering, the car skidded the steering wheel turned left into the median barrier. The car then made a complete U-turn in…
