All dash warning indicators come on randomly and a code reader indicates fuel injector issue. That was checked and is not the issue. This is a well-known symptom in this model year that head gasket leaks caused by under-specified head bolts do not keep the cylinder head sealed properly and this leads to many other issues.

Over the past 6/7 months, the following: ALL warning lights on dashboard flashing whenever car in running, strong smell of gasoline detected in home garage, and 5/6 times during the past 4/5 weeks engine "rough" when starting cold accompanied by loss of power. The lack of effective warning notices and/or the sudden loss of power increases the risk of crash and injury. I understand that these are related to a known Manufacturer's defect. The dealer replaced the fuel injectors…

For several months now, car has been misfiring, skipping and going into limp mode. Spark plugs replaced and issue went away for about 2 months. Issue has resurfaced and took it to Honda dealership where I purchased vehicle to run a diagnostic test. Informed to resolve the issue need fuel injectors replacement, spark plug replacements, coolant reservoir is empty and to top it off, need a head gasket kit.

The car misfires every now and then. For last two years (I bought it used two yers ago odometer=105k now 113k), it has been a repeated problem. A few times it lost all power and stopped completely. Once on highway. Once I had to get it towed. Another occasion it restarted after 15 minutes break as if nothing had gone wrong. This is very scary - I have reduced my driving and try to avoid highways as much as possible. It gives a code of P0302. It happens irrespective of hot or…

On May 25th, 2026 multiple dashboard warning lights flashed simultaneously while I was driving indicating an immediate engine issue, all warning alerts showed up. Next day, the engine exhibited a structural shudder/shake. The vehicle has otherwise always been perfectly maintained and operated flawlessly, thus, I called the dealership/ they gave me an appointment for the next day, after their inspection, they said that they need to replace the head gasket, timing chain set,…

All brake systems warning lamps illuminated while driving on the highway, the vehicle was pulled off the road and shut off, brakes were visually inspected and all fluid levels were examined and everything was intact. Vehicle was driven again after a breif time and everything was fine. A few weeks later all warning lamps were displayed, the vehicle was brought to a Honda dealership the following morning and a cracked fuel pump was diagnosed and the technician believed that…

Car has been running fine and maintenance is up to date . Got up one day to leave for work and when I went to accelerate I started hearing a grinding clatter type noise ( only when accelerating at about 3k-5k rpm ) and once the car got up to needed speed it goes away . No engine light codes ( but having intermittent connection issues with obd port but never been damaged or anything) but it does it sometimes consistently and sometimes it will have a few moments under same…

ALL dash lights came on and it showed all safety systems had faults. Took it to the dealership and was told I needed injectors. I have looked into this issue and many CR-V models have had warranty extensions for this exact issue. Lucky me mine is not one of the one's in the VIN group for this extension. So I am facing a $2,000 bill. The car is still driveable but its hard to feel safe with random dash lights coming on.

The head gasket is failing. The vehicle loses power on the freeway and on city streets, putting the driver & passengers at increase risk for collision. The dealer diagnosed the problem. We've had warning lights & symptoms since early in 2024, with no success in resolving the problem. Coil pack replaced in December 2024 and again in Feb 2025.

My 2017 CR-V (~$80k miles) will randomly fire every system or warning alert on the dashboard. This includes vital or important alerts like Brakes, Check engine light, Tire pressure, etc. There has been no way to reset it, and it persists through car restarts, system reboots, and driving. The first time this happened was [XXX], and I was able to reset it. However, it has returned a month and a half later ([XXX]) and there has been no remedy or reset that has worked. This…
