The vehicle brakes malfunctioned while driving over bumpy pavement in a parking lot. There was a loss of ability to stop the vehicle, the breaks seemed locked or ineffective. This cause me to come close to rear ending the vehicle in front of me. My foot was pushed FIRMLY on the break and the vehicle seemed to continue to lurch forward. The collision warning alarm was sounding and the brake pedal was vibrating.

Driving over railroad tracks the brakes would not engage. Emergency brake assist engaged at last second before rear ending vehicle in front.

On 2 separate occasions, under similar circumstances, the collision warning systems, both front and rear, applied the brakes for no reason. When reversing slowly (foot slowly off brake pedal) from a parking space on an almost empty rooftop parking lot; I confirmed there was no foot traffic or moving vehicles before I started to back up. The brakes automatically applied (no screen display); I reapplied the brake and was then able to reverse normally. On a normal service visit…

I feel that the recent hyundai Tucson recall should be expanded to 2024 palisades. My sensors often go off when it is unnecessary on my palisade. Additionally, I feel like recall NHTSA Recall Number 25V607000 has not been corrected in a timely manner. I've requested to my local dealership to fix this recall multiple times and each time have been told they don't have the parts and its "slow moving". The recall has been open for long enough I feel that shouldn't be the case,…

RE: Failed Radar Braking on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade What component or system failed or malfunctioned .. . . On Feb 8th, 2026 I was driving in to Lakeland FL on I-75 N, in the right hand lane, near a green stoplight following a car 2 lengths ahead. The radar cruise control was slowing me down, keeping up with the car in front. Another driver suddenly cut in front of me from the far left lane. The cruise slammed on the brakes. Within seconds he took a hard right to catch an…

While starting to drive from a red light, I was about a car length or 1.5 car length away from the vehicle ahead of me. As I was driving forward because the light turned green keeping the same distance, the car gave me a second and a half of the collision warning, then immediately went to emergency break-in and stopped me in the middle of the intersection during morning rush hour. The car behind me almost slammed into me. This happens once in a while when backing up in…

1. On several occasions while braking over uneven surfaces, the vehicle would not come to a complete stop, the brake pedals and steering wheel shook violently, and the vehicle continued to propel forward although I had the brakes engaged. This almost caused me to collide with other vehicles. The dealership could not replicate the issue and said it was a normal response. No, that is wrong; This is abnormal and dangerous. But at any rate, there was a safety recall recently to…

Automatic emergency braking. Vehicle has had several instances of slaming on brakes for no reason. Last time we were traveling about 35 miles per hour with a vehicle traveling behind us when system slammed on brakes locking them up and bringing us to a complete stop. We were traveling in the dark, in a rough road in a construction zone. No warnings lamps or messages. Scared us very bad. We are having the vehicle checked the next time we have in for service. Seat belts not…

There have been many times when driving, specifically over bumpy ground, but it has also happened over smooth/dry ground, where it feels like the anti-lock brakes suddenly kick in when they are not supposed to causing an inability to brake. You have to take your foot off the brake and brake again. This has caused several close calls of rear-ending someone or running through a stop sign or light. You must be keenly aware that this sudden braking inability/shaking of car, etc…

driving on i55 south bound near weber road in will county on 10/07/2025 at approximately 3:40 pm my 2024 palisade all of a sudden slammed on the brakes and alerted an audible message of eminent collision. there was no collision that was even present or going to happen. I was doing about 70mph and the car braked hard down to 20 mph. luckily no one behind rear ened me. traffic was moving at 70 to 80 mph and there were no other vehicles or incidents going on that would have…

There is a known issue documented online regarding the 2024 Hyundai Palisade and the ABS system. On multiple occasions we have noticed that when driving at slow speeds (less than 25 miles per hour) and if the road is slightly uneven, gravel, on an incline or decline, the brake pedal start to vibrate and there is loss of control and increased stopping distance. We reported this previously to Hyundai dealership and they found no fault. Today, 9/30/25, the care was involved in…

I am unsure what exact component malfunctioned but in 5 separate times within the past 2 months, the vehicle has failed to stop at a normal time when pressing the brakes and a loud rumbling occurs. It feels as if I am sliding on ice.Two of the times it occurred on uneven road surfaces, however 3 times I could not identify an issue with the road. They all occured when coming to a stoplight/stop sign or when I had to stop due to a vehicle slowing down or stopping in front of…
