On October 8, 2026, at about 7:20 AM, my 2022 Jeep Wrangler (VIN [VIN]) lost gear selection while I was driving on highway 20 at highway speed. The check engine light came on, followed by a "Service Electronic Stability Control" warning, and then the transmission displayed "Shift to P then Desired Gear." Mileage was 23,816 to 23,819. This happened the day after I picked the vehicle up from a warranty repair for the same problem. It is the fifth repair attempt since I bought…

Our daughter (who is a student at the University of Virginia) had been having issues with her Jeep and the instrument panel. In addition to the "death rattle" which terrified her regularly when driving it on the highway, she had been complaining to us over the months preceding this accident that the car was doing odd things, the instrument panel was glitchy, would often have flashing lights and sometimes the steering wheel would feel tight or heavy. I own a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe. My vehicle underwent Recall 68C and related high-voltage battery evaluation/software work. The high-voltage battery was later replaced by Jeep under warranty. Immediately after that battery replacement, I noticed a significant change in the vehicle’s propulsion behavior that I had not experienced before. I would like to report a safety concern with my 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe that began after Recall 68C was performed in January 2026. Prior to this recall, my Jeep did not exhibit the behavior I am now experiencing.
