   First my 2023 nissan rogue sv 1.5 l turbo , as i was driving my son to school and i stopped at a stop sign my car shut off and it told me to place my vehicle in park so i did just that but i noticed thatthe only light that stayed on the dash was the oil light and then once my son was dropped off , i stopped at another stop sign and it did it again, same place your vehicle in park ..    My engine light randomly came on with a bunch of other things and my car lost power in acceleration and can barely maintain a speed of 50 mph. Code P0196 popped up and I wanna know if it’s the sensor or the water valve. We brought the car in 3 times to a Nissan dealership and they still haven’t fixed it.

   I am filing this complaint regarding Nissan's handling of an open safety recall involving my vehicle and the subsequent engine failure. Nissan issued Recall 26V080 concerning an engine-related defect that can cause engine oil breakdown, bearing damage/seizure, engine damage, and loss of motive power.    Car went in to limp mode twice! (Vehicle speed wouldn’t get over 50 miles per hour.) The car was taken to the nearest O’Reilly to be diagnosed. The diagnosis said “ Powertain diagnosis troubled codes : P0012 Code Indicates that the Bank1intake camshaft position timing was retarded beyond limits for a predetermined time period of time.     World car Nissan states the issues with the vehicle are not recall related. They blame the defects on a faulty oil temp sensor and engine mount. When the incident occurred signaling for us to take it into the shop, the vehicle slowed down very suddenly and the engine force was limited by the system. Even waiting for the car to cool down, it did not start and work properly. Even a day after the incident, the accelerator was not working.
