Risk: A fluid leak may cause a loss of hydraulic functions, increasing the risk of injury. Additionally, a hydraulic fluid leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as hot engine or exhaust components, increases the risk of a fire.
Risk: Overloaded electrical circuits can overheat, increasing the risk of fire.
Risk: A damaged positional waterway trolley can become disconnected from the ladder and drop to the ground, increasing the risk of injury or death.
Risk: Inability to use the wireless remote controller may hinder the firefighting efforts, increasing the risk of injury.
Risk: A reduction in water pressure may hinder fire fighting efforts, increasing the risk of injury.
Risk: A cracked frame may cause the aerial device to be unstable, increasing the risk of injury.
Risk: A guardrail that bends or breaks under load can increase the risk of injury.
Risk: The unintended turning on or off of accessories such as emergency beacons or automatic snow chains can increase the risk of a crash.
Risk: If the power output cannot be changed, once the fire truck arrives at the scene, it may not be able to pump water to aid in extinguishing the fire, increasing the risk of injury.
