Certain Ford vehicles (e.g., my 2019 Ford F150 Platinum) have a front camera with a pressurized washer. When the windshield wiper fluid spray is operated, the camera washer sprays washer fluid from the reservoir onto the camera as well as the windshield. However, the camera spray system has a check-valve that leaks, draining the windshield washer fluid reservoir. When a driver needs to clean the windshield using the spray, the reservoir is empty, resulting in an uncleanable…

Windshield wipers are only working on the slowest setting, regardless of the position of the speed. Safety is put at risk as it cannot keep up with the rain. The dealer has reproduced the issue. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance. There are no warning lamps.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 MPH, the passenger side mirror malfunctioned and became stuck in the upward position and failed to tilt downward as needed. The failure created a visibility hazard for the driver. The contact was unable to view vehicles approaching from the rear passenger’s side and nearly caused a crash. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer was notified of the failure. The…

Wiper transmission corroded and seized causing it to burn out my wiper motor. Fixed and looked at by local ford dealer and issue is the seized wiper transmission but not under the recall numbers for the same issue in other f150 (2015-2020 f150 assembled in Canada) which mine is. How can I get reimbursed for the cost which should be covered under that recall.

Western NY, driving on Interstate 86 during a heavy rain, windshield wipers failed. They initially quit working making visibility impossible. Crawled to rest area on shoulder of highway with flashers going. Planned on spending night in truck until daybreak. Eventually rain lightened up, turned truck and wipers on once again. At first, they twitched every few seconds. Eventually, they wiped one cycle, very, very slowly every 5+ seconds. Occasionally starting and stopping.

This afternoon while getting ready to leave church, I pulled my truck forward about 10 feet with no issues in order to load some things in the truck bed before taking off. The truck started up just fine, and the starter sounded just as strong as it always does, indicating the battery was of good health. Upon starting the vehicle less than 5 minutes later the engine would not start due to a dead battery - or so that's what the symptoms led me to believe anyway. I heard some…

Windshield wipers suddenly stopped working on a trip and I had to drive without wipers in snow and slush, which was difficult. I took apart the wiper assembly and the center, passenger side wiper shaft was frozen solid with corrosion, I had to drill 2 holes in the casting to get lubrication on the shaft to free it up in order to get home. From what I see online this appears to be a common problem.
