While driving, my 2022 Ford F-150 equipped with the 2.7L EcoBoost experienced abnormal engine operation, a check-engine light, and reduced engine power. The unexpected reduction in available engine power created a safety concern because loss of acceleration or propulsion can be dangerous when merging, crossing traffic, passing, or traveling at highway speeds. The vehicle was inspected and diagnosed by an authorized Ford dealership. The PCM stored DTC P0332, Knock/Combustion…

My 2022 Ford F-150 has experienced intermittent delayed starting, uneven idle, and hesitation during acceleration. At times, the engine sounds and feels as though it may shut off. I began noticing these symptoms several months ago, and the most recent occurrence was approximately August 2026. I do not recall seeing any warning lamps or warning messages when these symptoms occurred. The vehicle has not yet been inspected or diagnosed by a Ford dealer or independent repair…

The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). I purchased a 2022 Ford F150 in September 2024. I began to notice occasional sluggishness when accelerating as the weather warmed up around March 2025. I contacted my local Ford dealership sharing the issue. The service manager suggested I consistently use a high octane fuel, which I consistently do, explaining I may just have "bad gas". The problem continued primarily when I was in heavy traffic with high temperatures. The truck acted as if it had a clogged fuel injector,…

I am reporting a safety-related defect involving the 10R80 automatic transmission in my 2022 Ford F-150 STX. While slowing to a stop during normal driving, the transmission unexpectedly performed an extremely harsh downshift. The truck jerked forward violently as it shifted into a lower gear, making it difficult to slow the vehicle in a smooth and predictable manner. This occurred without warning and created a dangerous situation while approaching an intersection. A vehicle…

The recall is 10 months old and no remedy offered. Every time I get behind tge wheel I'm risking an injury or death of myself or someone else. I can't sell my vehicle because it would put the next owner at risk. Do I have to wait until there's an injury or death to have something done about this?

Where is Ford at on the recall from like July 2025? NHTSA 25V455, safety recall notice 25S75. How long do they have to get a resolution? Seems like they have had plenty of time to resolve this issue. It seems more important than this last recall for a computer update. I can choose not to haul a trailer. I cannot choose for a stall due to loss of fuel pressure and flow from fuel pump failure. I am only curious of how long they are allowed to come up with a solution.

There are times that my 2022 Ford F150 Powerboost will not accelerate. Mostly if I roll in a turn and press on the gas pedal. I don't hear anything, like it's a auto/stop issue. I'll have to come to a complete stop, or I'll have to leave my foot on the pedal, then it's like it kicks on with high RPM. There's no warning lights or messages. When driving the gas pedal will go dead or not work at all. I will be driving along then try to push the gas at a left hand turn and nothing will happen. I push the pedal to the floor many times and after a period of time it starts to work again. The issue never puts out a code or check engine light.
