My complaint with Jeep/Stellantis goes far beyond dissatisfaction with a buyback amount. My family leased a new 2025 Jeep Wrangler expecting a safe vehicle, and instead we have been placed in a worse position after dealing with serious recall and safety concerns. FCA has agreed to repurchase our vehicle, yet the process requires us to continue maintaining and driving a vehicle we no longer feel safe using while waiting weeks for the repurchase to be completed. A potential…

When I drive the in electric mode, I sometimes get a sudden loss of power and the system falls back to hybrid mode. Normally this is expected transition that is part of a plug in hybrid. Electric to Hybrid to Gas... As a alert driver, I plan for this not passing semi-trucks if I am low on electical until hybrid or hybrid to gas... The Jeep 4xe, seems to swtich AFTER I ask for more power.... this delay and hesitation is dangerous. Once example, with 35% battery, at 30 miles…

While driving the car in electric mode The car has very bad lag/hesitation while driving on the highway And when at a stop pulling out into traffic. After driving it in electric mode for approximately 8 miles. It will also feel as though it is not as powerful. I feel as though this could cause an accident from lack of power and hesitation.

The contact called for an acquaintance who owned a 2025 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in the driveway, a neighbor saw black smoke coming from the vehicle. The neighbor called the authorities first and then called the contact, who was not at the residence during the failure. Purchased vehicle in question on 9/11/25 as a lease through the local Jeep dealership near my residence. Sometime around 4/26 to 5/26 my vehicle started to display odd operational patterns which were brought to my local dealerships attention. The first event where I was able to record any type of documentation was around 5/25/26. While driving, the vehicle would suddenly go into "limp mode" and rapidly decrease speed. Several check engine lights would appear to include:…

The 12-volt auxiliary battery and related electrical system in my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE plug-in hybrid (leased new 8/25/2025) repeatedly fail. The battery completely discharges after the vehicle sits plugged into a standard home charger, undisturbed, for several consecutive days, leaving the vehicle completely inoperable. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request and is currently at a dealership. Failures to date (5): 11/05/2025: found dead after charging;…

When driving on the highway the jeep would not accelerate. At about 60mph no matter how far I pushed the petal down it would only maintain speed. It happened again going much slower on local streets.

On June 1, 2026, software update 68C was performed at the dealership on my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. On June 6, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m., after driving the vehicle for about 25 minutes, I experienced a serious malfunction. While making a turn at a speed of less than 10 mph, the vehicle suddenly and without warning lost throttle and propulsion. It appeared to hesitate as though shifting between electric and gasoline power, and then abruptly and erratically lurched…

I was driving vehicle on interstate when sudden loss of power took place. I immediately pulled off the road and we smelled smoke. Fire was coming out of engine compartment near passenger wheel. We immediately exited the vehicle and assisted our young children out of the back seat. Within seconds the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. If we were not able to immediately pull off the road and assist our children, we could have all been severely injured or killed.

After a dealership visit and representation that recall-related work was complete, the vehicle stalled again within hours. There is an active recall related to this issue with no available remedy. The vehicle suddenly has a check engine light appear on the dash with a display message “performance limited, service fuel system”. This issue effectively caused the vehicle to enter a “limp mode” while driving it and limited its speed while driving. This reduced the speed of the car while driving at highway speed. The dealer has stated the issue is a high pressure fuel pump issue and a control module issue.
