When I drive the in electric mode, I sometimes get a sudden loss of power and the system falls back to hybrid mode. Normally this is expected transition that is part of a plug in hybrid. Electric to Hybrid to Gas... As a alert driver, I plan for this not passing semi-trucks if I am low on electical until hybrid or hybrid to gas... The Jeep 4xe, seems to swtich AFTER I ask for more power.... this delay and hesitation is dangerous. Once example, with 35% battery, at 30 miles…

The Jeep 68C Recall fix severely hampered the output of the electric motor. When driving in Electric mode, or Hybrid mode after charging the electric battery, the Jeep works fine up until a point and as the driver you can feel it will reach a point where it cannot output anymore power from the electric motor. I most often hit this when trying to merge into traffic, or when going up hills. This is extremely unsafe because the Jeep will cease to output additional power and…

While driving the car in electric mode The car has very bad lag/hesitation while driving on the highway And when at a stop pulling out into traffic. After driving it in electric mode for approximately 8 miles. It will also feel as though it is not as powerful. I feel as though this could cause an accident from lack of power and hesitation.

My vehicle has an ongoing serious problem when in electric mode. As the battery level falls below 50% the vehicle’s fails to accelerate properly. While on the highway this causes the vehicle to reduce speed and endangers me and my family as you cannot keep up with the flow of traffic when merging or changing lanes. There are also some issues when starting the vehicle it sometimes skips the warmup cycle and idles extremely high from a cold start.

I had only been driving for maybe 4 or 5 miles on back roads. All flat, not highway speeds, most of those miles at speeds from 35-45. Encountered a small hill that is really nothing. The first symptom is that I will feel a slight hesitation in the gas pedal. You could almost mistake it for a transmission gear switch. Then shortly thereafter it's a full on hesitation and a nearly dead gas pedal. Finally it becomes the electric mode unavailable error and super high Rev on the…

While driving my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe in normal conditions, the vehicle unexpectedly loses electric drive power. Power is reduced in stages — to approximately 50%, then 25% — then electric mode is disabled and the dash displays "Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable," after which the vehicle forces into hybrid operation after a delay. During the delay, the vehicle does not deliver the power requested by the accelerator. This has occurred at 41%, 73%, and 81% battery state…

When driving on the highway the jeep would not accelerate. At about 60mph no matter how far I pushed the petal down it would only maintain speed. It happened again going much slower on local streets.

On June 1, 2026, software update 68C was performed at the dealership on my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. On June 6, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m., after driving the vehicle for about 25 minutes, I experienced a serious malfunction. While making a turn at a speed of less than 10 mph, the vehicle suddenly and without warning lost throttle and propulsion. It appeared to hesitate as though shifting between electric and gasoline power, and then abruptly and erratically lurched…

I was driving vehicle on interstate when sudden loss of power took place. I immediately pulled off the road and we smelled smoke. Fire was coming out of engine compartment near passenger wheel. We immediately exited the vehicle and assisted our young children out of the back seat. Within seconds the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. If we were not able to immediately pull off the road and assist our children, we could have all been severely injured or killed.

Subsequent to the 68C recall software update, my vehicle is suffering from intermittent loss of acceleration. Even with a full charge of battery, when driving the 2025 jeep wrangler 4xe in EV mode, occasionally the car will shut of EV mode and transition to gas/hybrid mode. The problem is the vehicle changes from EV mode to gas/hybrid it can take 10 seconds. In the meantime there is no ability to accelerate. The pedal is dead. It occurred 4 times in random places. Once on a…

Component/System Failure: The hybrid/electric propulsion system intermittently loses power while driving. Electric output is progressively reduced to approximately 50%, then 25%, and then fully disabled, even when sufficient battery charge remains. The condition appears to involve the hybrid control/electric drive system. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. What Happened / Safety Risk: The loss of electric propulsion occurs unpredictably during normal…
