The leather covering on the upper dashboard of my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited is coming unglued from the dashboard and bubbling/lifting up. The problem is getting worse over time. The dashboard and affected material are still installed on the truck and are available for inspection if requested. My safety concern is that the delamination is occurring on the passenger side of the dashboard in the area where the passenger air bag deploys. I am concerned that the loose and raised…

The passenger airbag in my 2019 RAM 1500 (VIN: [XXX] LP: [XXX]) is completely missing. The dashboard was cosmetically repaired to hide the absence, and the warning light was tampered with so no airbag/SRS alert appears. This was only discovered during a recent inspection; I had no prior warning. Inspection by an independent service center is scheduled and I can provide the vehicle for examination upon request. This creates a severe safety hazard, for years I've driven with…

Airbag switch in seat was partially faulty, depending on drivers weight. Dealership pulled code and replaced the new battery with a new battery, then did the steering wheel clockspring, but the final outcome was the weight of the driver and the seat switch for the airbag. The truck is currently in the shop waiting for the seat airbag switch. I believe this to be a safety recall. The dash cover has separated from the main dash component. RAM cannot confirm this will not impede the proper deployment of safety airbags in case of a head on collision. This is more than a visual issue, it's a safety issue. Looking online at RAM forums, this has been a common issue with the dash for many RAM owners.
