I currently am experiencing the early stages of the failure of the SECOND fuel pump that this car has. I experienced the same symptoms/problem (hesitation and stalling) a year or two ago with the stock fuel pump. I had the Toyota dealer that I purchased the car from in January of 2022 replace the fuel pump. I thought it was just a one-off situation. I bought this Toyota second hand with a little over 29k I had it less than a month when the slave cylinder failed. While in this particular Corolla the slave cylinder and brake booster share fluids. So when I lost my clutch I also lost my brakes with my toddler In the car. Toyota is aware of the faulty slave cylinders and has decided to fix them as they come vrs doing a recall. My passengers airbag light is on and it causes a safety issue. I called Toyota and they washed their hands off. Telling me that my VIN number does not fall under the recall where I know for a fact that car is made around the same time have many recalls with this particular issue. I was not given any help at all.

The master warning light illuminated, and the vehicle veered off into a ditch. The vehicle was towed to the residence.
