My vehicle, and many other 4th Generation Tacoma owners, have reported this happening. For my situation, my driver’s interior door handle does not engage the door latch mechanism as of [XXX]. The window must be rolled down and outside handle pulled to open the door. Upon taking it to the dealer on October…

Have 2 incidents. 1. Transmission would do a hard jerk when shifting from 1st to 2nd going about 20MPH. Also happened when slowing down. Also happened when going from park to reverse/drive and/or reverse to drive. Happened randomly. Had to tech from dealer for ride along and tech saw it happen first hand. Ended up getting new transmission. Truck has 30K miles. 2. Drivers side door handle broke. Had to roll down window to open door from outside.

I am looking to purchase a used Toyota Tacoma and was interested in this vehicle. As I studied the CARFAX report I noticed it had been sold twice with active recalls and never repaired. Right Toyota sold the vehicle as "Certified" and never fixed the first recall and eventually Chapman sold the vehicle with a second recall that was never fixed although they aren't selling the vehicle as certified.
