Not only do they frequently fail, but Chevrolet does not have any parts available to the dealerships for weeks.    A valve on the 3.0L Duramax is allegedly sticking, causing the vehicle to go into limp mode or be inoperable. This is a known issue for GM and they have issued a service bulletin on it.
