The manufacturer marked the recall complete via an automated Over-The-Air (OTA) update without physical inspection. The rearview camera failed to display. The dealership replaced the display, which failed to remedy the defect, and during service, the radio module failed completely. Both dealer and manufacturer are demanding out-of-pocket payment to restore federally mandated FMVSS 111 camera compliance.
