Took my 2021 Ford F 150 in for recall 23s65 and oil change and was told vehicle was unsafe to drive and even though parts according to ford where available the dealer said they were on back order with no ETA of when they would be available and they would put me in a rental for the time being. I’ve been told 3 times now by Ford parts are available but yet the dealership keeps saying they’re still on back order.

My Ford F-150 is subject to Manufacturer Recall Number23S65/NHTSA Recall Number23V896. I asked for the repair multiple times, but the dealership repeatedly told me that the parts were on backorder. The hub bolt on my right rear tire cracked and the truck was making a high pitched sound. I took it to the dealer and they said the bolt was cracked and driving it in that condition is dangerous. The truck is not safe to drive, but the parts remain on backorder indefinitely.

The manufacturer is unwilling or unable to perform recall 23V896 in a timely manner. I have submitted my truck for inspection at an authorized dealer, Gullo Ford of Conroe, TX, on October 6, 2025 per manufacturer requirements. As of this writing, January 14, 2026 I have not been advised of availability of parts to remedy the defect. I am asking that necessary parts be supplied and the recall be performed in a timely manner, as soon as possible at this point.

Ford has refused, on multiple occasions and at multiple dealerships, to address the NHTSA Recall Number 23V896 (MFG. Recall Number 23S65) issue with the Wheel End Hub Bolt in the rear axle. Well, this weekend, the bolt on the passenger side rear axle broke off, rendering the vehicle undriveable. I brought it in to the Lithia Ford Dealership (who's online information said they were open) to get it addressed. They were closed, no one was there, and they won't even give me a…

I own a 2021 Ford F-150 [Lariat PowerBoost] affected by recall 23S65 (rear axle bolt). The bolts have severed. Ford has advised that my truck is unsafe to drive until repaired. When I brought the vehicle in, I was told parts were available. I drove the car home and later discovered from paperwork that the repair was not completed only the parts had been ordered. I was told not to take the Truck on my upcoming vacation pulling my camper. I opened a case with Ford Customer…

Drove it out to CA from Texas. Purchased for Planet Ford who told me the truck was k to drive and no axel problem. Drove it out to CA from Texas when we moved in late April - after that went to Santa Barbara and dashboard controls went dead. Speedometer and may other controls stopped working. Truck felt sluggish. Took it into Tuttle Click Ford Lincoln in Irvine and they said they real axel was about to fall off and took the truck away. They've had it for a month and said…

The rear axle hub bolt on my 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost failed to meet design safety standards and is subject to Recall 23S65. The vehicle is currently at a Ford dealership and is available for inspection upon request. My safety was put at risk because the bolt can shear off without warning, causing the rear axle shaft to disengage. This can result in sudden loss of propulsion or vehicle rollaway, especially if parked on an incline. Ford has acknowledged this risk but has…

This morning I called Al Packer Ford East, told them I had this issue and know its a recall, the lady told me I needed to drive my vehicle in for them to be serviced, when I told her it was unsafe, she well that not my problem.

Ford stated a solution to this would be available q1 2025, but has not provided one. They had already pushed this back once before. The wheel end hub bolt in the rear axle may become loose or break. Continued driving with a broken bolt may lead to wear within the axle and damage the axle hub splines. This may initially result in a clicking noise as the bolt becomes loose and a rattle noise from the wheel cap if the bolt breaks. Vehicles with damaged axle hub splines may roll…

Unable to rotate tires or change a flat tire because per dealer Ford lug nuts are swollen and they can not come off with standard tool (lug wrench). Dealer informed me this has been an issue for years but there are no recalls. I was shocked to find out a simple issue like a flat tire can not be fixed due to the simplest designed piece of equipment on the vehicle (lug nut). Dealer stated i can buy replacement lug nuts from Ford for about $200.00 but they will do the same…
