In December 2023 encountered a failure of the vehicles Rear Differential Module (RDM). Failure of the RDM on this vehicle poses several significant safety issues, not dissimilar to concerns raised by the failure of the PTU on this vehicle which eventually resulted in a recall by the manufacturer after many reports by owners. Vehicle mileage at this time was 72,829. As this failure occurred outside of the drivetrain warranty offered by Stellantis on this vehicle, I had the…

I purchased this 2014 Jeep Cherokee from Taverna Collection in Feb 2025 and received it in March 2025. The selling dealer was required to inspect the vehicle before delivery and did not report any transmission or valve-body issues. On June 25, 2025, the vehicle received a multipoint inspection at Auto Angel in Santa Fe. No transmission failure, shifting issues, or valve-body concerns were found. The Jeep was not showing symptoms related to Recall U90 at that time. After…

The contact had to pump the fuel slowly, and it was difficult to fuel the vehicle to capacity. There was only one fuel pump that the contact could use in the town of his residence. My 2014 Jeep Cherokee began exhibiting repeated transmission and electrical malfunctions, particularly after startup or while idling. The most concerning issue is the appearance of a “Switch to Park” warning message, which occurs while the vehicle is already in Drive. When this happens, the transmission fails to engage properly, and I’m unable to shift into gear without cycling through Park multiple times. **seems to start happening after filling gas tank to full** This…

This vehicle has an extremely dangerous & ongoing issue related to the 9-speed transmission. Many times the vehicle does not know when to shift, sputtering/sluggish/jerky when accelerating from being stopped and coming to a stop. Frequently the vehicle engages itself into Neutral and/or Parking Brake while driving at both city and highway speeds. This is a very dangerous safety hazard as any motorist trailing behind me can not anticipate the sudden deceleration that ensues.…

As of this date: Started about a year ago, when Jeep was over 150,000 miles. When accelerating to turn or from a stop sign or light, vehicle would stall, mimicking the feeling the vehicle ran out of gas. This occurred about once a month. Working at home and not driving my vehicle as much its hard to say if it would have occurred more often. Checked for any codes, none appeared. As I have recently started driving back in the office 3 days a week, the issue of stalling at any…

When tank is filled up, my car stall or jumps and losses power when in drive and come to a stop, it tells me to put in park. But has done it while driving and just died, but it happens every time I fill up my tank, but it’s bad when I get to a red light and it jumps or when I come to crossing and just jumps in traffic or stops
