My Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe experienced a sudden and severe loss of motive power while making a left turn onto US Route 301 at a major intersection. When the traffic light turned green, I attempted to accelerate through the intersection, but the vehicle suddenly entered what is commonly referred to as “Turtle Mode” and would only travel approximately 2 MPH. This left the vehicle moving extremely slowly in an active major roadway and created an immediate risk of being struck…

After 68C recall completed, there is a noticeable reduced power and sudden engine (ICE) starts when it shouldn't be needed. It takes seconds for the vehicle to pickup speed when needed such as when merging lanes which causes a high risk for an accident due to this delay in response. This vehicle is not running as intended, it seems the threshold has been reduced on purpose which is not why I purchased this vehicle to begin with. I need this vehicle to operate as it once used…

1: Ever since one of the recalls was "addressed", the vehicle seems to lack power when taking off, etc. It seems like it lacks propulsion. 2: I was driving on the highway several times, and for no reason, the power reduces greatly and I am unable to go above 60 mph. The warning light (as seen in the attached) comes on and stays on until the vehicle is turned off. This has happened to me several times at different speeds (with and without adaptive cruise control on). I cannot…

Driving the vehicle and it had uncontrolled acceleration. The wipers went on and multiple lights went on, engine, brakes to name a few. The brake peddle did work. Picture below was after incident and not all the lights.

My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE plug-in hybrid had the 68C recall performed at a Jeep Dealer. My vehicle was working flawlessly prior to this recall. After the recall was performed, the vehicle hybrid battery system now loses power when accelerating. For example, driving 45 MPH in electric mode on a level road for a minute causes the speed to reduce regardless of acceleration, with the exception of flooring the accelerator pedal which causes a surge of power from the gas engine,…

Following the completion of the 68C recall update on 4/17/26 my 2024 Jeep 4xE experiences a severe loss of acceleration and throttle lag at highway speeds (over 50 mph) when in electric mode. When attempting to pass vehicles (and sometimes when in the oncoming traffic lane), or when just trying to maintain speed in traffic, the drivetrain abruptly throttles power; causing the vehicle to bog down and hesitate. There is no ability to accelerate and care slows. The gas pedal is…

While driving my vehicle, I have noticed a significant decrease in power and a corresponding slowdown, particularly in traffic conditions. This has resulted in a near-miss collision with another vehicle in the rear. Furthermore, attempting to accelerate the vehicle has proven futile. ps. The dealer where I brought the vehicle is kinda giving me a hard time & I fear for my family safety. honestly I dont feel like the dealer was being completly honest.

On XXX at approximately 1002am, [XXX] was on the exit ramp from [XXX] northbound to [XXX]. At the end of the ramp, she stopped and tried to make a left turn onto [XXX] northbound. The vehicle was still in Electric mode (plenty of battery life remaining). The Jeep crawled through the intersection, with the accelerator all the way to the floor. [XXX] feared that she would be struck by oncoming traffic. The gas motor did not activate until sometime after she cleared the…

On XXX at approximately 1000am, [XXX] was driving the Jeep on [XXX] at a speed of 72mph. The vehicle was in E-Save mode and had 16 miles of battery life remaining. [XXX] switched over to Electric mode and slowly began to lose speed. She put the accelerator all the way to the floor, but the gas motor did not activate. The Jeep dropped slowly down to 62mph where it leveled off. Shortly thereafter she exited the highway, so she was able to come off the accelerator. INFORMATION…

On 6-22-26 at approximately 1035 am, I was traveling southbound on Rte 140 in Taunton. I was in the left lane, traveling at a speed of approximately 55 mph. The Jeep was in Electric Mode. I attempted to accelerate so that I could get around a tanker truck. I pressed down on the accelerator, but my speed only went up to 56 mph before slowly starting to come down. I pressed harder on the accelerator, but my speed continued to drop. There was a vehicle traveling close behind me…

On [XXX] at approximately [XXX] pm I was at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. When the light turned green I attempted to make a left turn. The Jeep was in E-Save mode, but the gas engine was not on at the time. I stepped on the accelerator, but the vehicle moved very slowly through the turn, no matter how hard I pressed down on the accelerator (electric motor engaged at this time). I feared that I would get struck by other vehicles due to the very slow rate of speed. When…

When I am driving I will lose power and not be able to drive while I am in the middle of a road driving. And I have to turn my car completely off to let it start back up. The dealership doesn’t not seem to have any more suggestions or recommendations. I feel unsafe driving this vehicle. This keeps happening
