  General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Blazer, Blazer EV, Equinox, and GMC Terrain vehicles. The door strikers may fracture, resulting in the door opening unexpectedly.

  Risk: A door opening while the vehicle is being driven can increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will replace all four door strikers and attaching bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 24, 2024. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N232429911.

   2 of my rims have cracked the first one around 8,000 miles and the second at around 14,400 miles. I have never cracked a rim before in my life except these 2 within the last few months. I do not take it off-roading and drive on regular roads in Utah primarily. Tire size 275/40R21 however it is the rim that is breaking.    The fuel pump quit while driving, fortunately we were not on as interstate highway. I was able to coast to the side of the road and call for tow. If this occurred on an interstate highway it could have been very dangerous. The dealer repaired the vehicle under a warranty. The fuel pump and control module were replaced.

   My drivers side view mirror has been malfunctioning. Nearly ever time I get in my car the side mirror will randomly adjust to a different position, typically all the way up or all the way down. My safety is at risk as sometimes it adjusts and I forget, then when I go to merge on to a highway or even make an evasive driving maneuver the mirror is incorrectly positioned.
